I wept the entire car ride home. My body ached with signs of recent childbirth, but my arms were empty. We arrived home to an apartment that had been beautifully re-decorated - the nursery, now an office. I appreciated that so much, and yet...no words.

I didn't know it then, but thereafter in the early mornings with Jesus, a fighter in me was born. A MOTHER whose pain would be used for purpose.

If you've ever experienced the heartache of empty arms, this devotional journal is for you. In it, I very personally share my journey through grief and the redeeming power of God's love through scriptures I'd study daily to increase my faith and heal my broken heart.

Whether your arms are empty due to infertility or child-loss, I believe that if your hearts' desire is to bear fruit - He will deliver on His promise. This journey looks different for all of us, and my hope is that as you read these devotionals your hearts and minds will be opened to receive love, guidance, and healing from the One who loves us most.
